About

This project was born out of a series of conversations that we had over the year of 2018. Our discussions revolved around the crisis of meaning that is currently unfolding in our culture. A collective existential crisis of sorts: gnarly, messy, and very real. There is a palpable collective low-grade anxiety at the brink of exploding at any minute or so it may seem. The crisis is collective because it is individual. The crisis is individual because it is collective.

Some of us lead “successful” lives, doing all the things that we are “supposed” to be doing, but somehow we remain unsatisfied. Some of us find ourselves stuck in patterns, habits, and storylines that no longer serve us. We turn to various distractions and may succumb to addictions or a silent form of apathy. What if we slowly learn that authentic spirituality is about sitting with the questions and allowing them to unfold. To relish the open-ended-ness of living…and to find beauty in the mess.

We created this podcast to deepen the questions we are all thinking about but are afraid to bring to the table. We dive into the myriad of ways we can bring meaning to our life. After all, it is through conversations that we can learn. It is through open dialogue that we grow.

We are aware of the immensity of our task, and so we request your company as we carefully tread these thorny terrains.
